Privacy policy
yourbrowser.app is built around a simple idea: your files and personal data should stay on your device whenever possible. This page explains what runs locally, what may leave your browser, and how we measure usage.
What runs locally
Image conversion — including format changes (JPG, PNG, WebP), resizing, batch processing, and ZIP downloads — happens entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to our servers. We do not store, log, or have access to the files you convert.
Most browser facts shown on the site (user agent, screen size, timezone, language, connection type) are read from APIs built into your browser and displayed on the page without being sent to us.
What may leave your browser
Public IP lookup: To show your public IP address, the page makes a request from your browser directly to api.ipify.org. That service sees your IP address as part of the lookup. We do not receive or store this on our servers.
Local / private IP: We attempt to detect your local network address using WebRTC in your browser. This does not involve our servers.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics (G-MVF6BMGRZP) to collect anonymous usage statistics — such as page views and button clicks. Google may set cookies and process data according to their own privacy policy. We use this to understand which tools are useful, not to identify individual users.
Cookies
We do not set our own cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies as part of its service. You can block analytics cookies via your browser settings or a content blocker.
Third-party services
- api.ipify.org — public IP lookup (IP pages only)
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (all pages)
